I often adapt this recipe to what I have on hand. Sometimes I add a sprinkle of nutmeg for an extra warm spice note, or I swap out the parmesan for another hard cheese like asiago or even a little bit of cheddar for a more robust flavor. The beauty of this recipe lies in its adaptability; you can tailor it to your own preferences and the ingredients you have readily available. The base recipe, however, is consistently a crowd-pleaser and a lifesaver on busy weeknights.

This recipe is more than just a quick meal; it's a testament to how simple ingredients and clever techniques can create something truly special.
