Step-by-step

    • Crumb Mix
    • Chop Nuts with food processor or blender.
    • Use mixer to cream butter and brown sugar together then add flour and nuts, mix well.
    • Reserve 2 cups of crumb mixture for later.
    • Place the rest of mixture in a 9 x 13 inch pan, spreading and patting it down evenly.
    • Bake at 350' for 12 to 15 minutes until lightly browned.
    • Cheese Filling
    • While crumb mixture is baking use mixer to blend cream cheese and sugar together, add eggs, milk, lemon juice and vanilla.
    • mix completely and set aside.
    • When crumb mixture is done baking remove from oven and let stand 2 or 3 minutes to set.
    • Now spread the cream filling on top and sprinkle the crumb mix reserved earlier evenly on top.
    • Bake at 350' for 25 to 30 minutes until top is lightly browned.
    • Remove from oven, cool completely and cut into squares.
