  • (optional - 1/2 tsp nutmeg - this is my own secret
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of any chopped and cooked/steamed veg cooked meat, shrimp, bacon, ham etc..(i have also used left over chicken taco meat.)

Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 frozen pie crust
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped and cooked vegetables or meat (leftover chicken taco meat works great!)
  • 1 1/2 cups grated cheese

Step-by-step

    • oven at 375 degrees
    • prepare cookie sheet or big cake pan lines with aluminum foil for each quiche (for possible over flow)
    • get crust ready
    • cook up veggies and/or meat
    • in a big mixing bowl mix in eggs, milk, and spices with a hand mixer for a minute or 2
    • stir in cheese and veggies, meat etc
    • pour the mixture into pie, filling a little over half up
    • place on cookie sheet or cake pan and put in oven
    • cook for about 45 minutes (check at 30 minutes)
    • it is cooked when you stick a knife or toothpick in the middle and it comes out mostly dry
