As a busy housewife, I'm always on the lookout for quick and easy meals that the whole family will enjoy. Taco Salad is one of my go-to recipes because it's delicious, nutritious, and can be customized to everyone's liking.
The base of the salad is ground beef, taco seasoning, chili beans, and French dressing. I like to use lean ground beef to keep the salad healthier, and I add a packet of taco seasoning for flavor. The chili beans add some extra protein and fiber, and the French dressing adds a bit of sweetness and tanginess. Once the meat mixture is cooked, I simply combine it with shredded cheddar cheese, chopped lettuce, and diced tomatoes.
