Hello there! I'm excited to share this amazing recipe for Herbed Tomato Water with you. It's a deliciously versatile dish that can be enjoyed as an accompaniment to your favorite savory meals or even as a light and refreshing drink on its own. Whether you're a seasoned chef or just starting your culinary journey, this recipe is easy to follow and will surely impress your taste buds.

The secret to this dish lies in the combination of fresh herbs and juicy tomatoes. I love using a variety of herbs like oregano, basil, and thyme to infuse the tomato water with a rich and aromatic flavor. The slow simmering process allows the flavors to meld together perfectly, creating a broth that is both flavorful and incredibly soothing.

Step-by-step

    • Add all ingredients to a medium pot, on a low heat. (note: only add half of the 1/2 cup of veg stock at the beginning of the cooking process)
    • Add lid and let simmer for a half hour.
    • Remove lid after half hour, test, season, and mash the tomato mixture.
    • Recover the pot, and let simmer for another half hour.
    • Remove from heat, and pass through a fine strainer.
