As a working mom, I'm always looking for quick and easy meals that my family will enjoy. This chili recipe is one of my favorites because it's simple to make and always a hit with my kids.

The best part about this chili is that it's so versatile. You can add or remove ingredients to suit your own taste preferences. For example, if you like your chili spicy, you can add some diced jalapeños. Or, if you prefer a milder flavor, you can omit the jalapeños and add some diced carrots or celery instead.

I also love that this chili is a great way to use up leftovers. If you have some leftover cooked ground beef or vegetables, you can simply add them to the chili pot. This is a great way to save time and money, and it also helps to reduce food waste.

So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal that your family will love, give this chili recipe a try. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Step-by-step

    1. Brown hamburger and drain fat off, then place hamburger in pot you intend to make your chili in
    2. Place all your chopped vegetables in the pot
    3. Put 1 can Kidney beans in with the juice, and put the second can in also, but I normally drain half of the juice off. If you only want to make a pot for family of 4 like i do normally i cut out the second can of beans and use half of onion and half of green pepper!
    4. Now put in your tomatoe puree you may need to add some water to can to get all of it out
    5. Now i normally season at this point with salt and pepper. I add in the tablespoon of sugar, and i season with Morton's season all I use this in all of my recipes you will notice I swear by it lol...
    6. At this point you can turn the heat down to medium and walk away for about an hour *you can cut down on your cook time if you cook your veggies first before adding the other ingrediants to your pot* Anyway season right before serving if it's not to your liking stir it and by the time you get your bowls ready it should be done.
