Italian Garlic Bread
Italian Garlic Bread. I make this all time favorite bread with either Italian or French bread. I like to buy the old dry bread as I think it makes a nicer garlic bread. This goes with many dishes or on the side of a big salad. I love garlic so it's a favorite of mine and the family and friends love it too!

I am a housewife, and I love to cook. I love to try new recipes, and I love to share my favorites with my family and friends. Italian Garlic Bread is one of my favorite recipes, and I make it all the time. It is so easy to make, and it is always a hit.

I like to use a loaf of Italian bread that is hard and crusty. This makes the garlic bread nice and crispy. I also like to use fresh garlic, but you can use jarred garlic if you don't have any fresh. The garlic salt adds a nice flavor to the bread, but you can omit it if you don't like it.

Once the bread is sliced, I spread the garlic butter on the right side of each slice. I then butter the top of the bread and sprinkle it with parmesan cheese and parsley flakes. I bake the bread at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes until it is golden brown.

Italian Garlic Bread is a delicious and easy to make. It is a great side dish for any meal, and it is also a great appetizer. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Step-by-step

Use a hard and crusty loaf of bread, not the soft breads as it makes a better garlic bread.
  • Slice the bread all the way through.
  • Place on aluminum foil.
  • Chop garlic, mix with softened butter, and add garlic salt.
  • Butter the right side only of each slice of bread.
  • Butter the top too, then sprinkle parmesan cheese and parsley flakes on the top.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
