To make Apple Pie Cookies, you will need the following ingredients: 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 large egg, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 cup butter room temperature, 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour, 2 tablespoons pancake syrup, and 1 1/4 cups apples diced (2 medium).

Step-by-step

    • Preheat oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
    • In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and syrup. With the mixer on low speed, gradually blend in the flour mixture. Once all flour has been incorporated, stir in apples
    • Drop large tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheet.
