Avocado and Lime Tuna Salad

Avocado and Lime Tuna Salad
Avocado and Lime Tuna Salad
I originally found this wonderful recipe on Tony Fed's website, Fitness in an Evolutionary Direction. I must admit that I originally felt a bit dismissive of dishes like tuna salad, egg salad, and pasta salad. I still think that pasta salad is not tasty, but I enjoy the other two. My issue with these dishes is simply that the word "salad" seems like an inaccurate description; they more closely resemble the other items on the plate than lettuce and other salad fixings.

I'm a housewife and mother of two, and I'm always looking for easy and healthy recipes that my family will enjoy. This avocado and lime tuna salad is one of my favorites because it's quick to make, and it's packed with flavor. My kids love it, and it's a great way to get them to eat more fish.

This salad is also a great source of protein and healthy fats, so it's a great option for a healthy lunch or dinner. I like to serve it on top of a bed of lettuce or mixed greens, but it's also good on its own.

Step-by-step

    • Layer the vegetables in a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
    • Add tuna and pumpkin seeds and then squeeze the lime juice over the top.
    • Season with fresh black pepper.
