Bierocks are a delicious and easy way to get your comfort food fix. They're perfect for a quick and easy meal, or for freezing and reheating later. Made with ground beef, cabbage, and cheese, bierocks are a hearty and satisfying dish that the whole family will love.

I love to make a big batch of bierocks and freeze them for later. That way, I always have a quick and easy meal on hand. To freeze bierocks, simply place them in a freezer-safe bag or container and freeze for up to 2 months. When you're ready to eat, thaw the bierocks in the refrigerator or at room temperature, and then bake them in a preheated oven until heated through.

Step-by-step

    • Allow rolls to thaw
    • Cover to prevent drying
    • Brown beef, add onion and cabbage
    • Cook and stir 5-10 minutes, until well blended
    • Add seasoning
    • Add cheese; stir until melted
    • Roll (or in my case, smoosh) out each roll
    • Place as much mixture in center of dough as will fit, 1-2T
    • Bring edges up to cover
    • Place seam side down, on cookie sheet
    • Bake 350 degrees for 25 minutes, until lightly golden
    • Rub with butter while hot
    • Can be frozen or reheated
