As a housewife, I know the importance of a good dessert. Flan is a classic Mexican dessert that is both delicious and easy to make. It's the perfect way to end a special meal or to enjoy as a sweet treat.

The best thing about flan is that it can be customized to your liking. You can add different flavors, such as vanilla, chocolate, or fruit. You can also adjust the sweetness to your liking. No matter how you make it, flan is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.

Step-by-step

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a blender, combine evaporated milk, condensed milk, eggs, salt, and vanilla. Blend until smooth.

  • While blending, prepare the caramelized sugar by heating sugar in a pot until desired color is achieved.

  • Remove sugar from heat and pour into the flan pan. Place the flan pan into a larger pan filled with water.

  • Add the blender mixture to the flan pan and bake for 1-1 1/2 hours, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  • Let the flan cool, then separate the edges with a knife and flip onto a decorative plate. Allow the caramelized sugar to drizzle all over the flan.
