As a busy housewife, I'm always looking for easy and delicious recipes that I can make for my family. This Bacalao Guisado (Codfish Stew) is one of my favorites because it's so simple to prepare and it's always a hit with everyone at the table.
The best part about this dish is that it can be made with ingredients that you probably already have on hand. Simply rinse the codfish fillets to remove the excessive salt, tear them into pieces, and place them in a saucepan. Bring the water to a boil and then reduce the heat to low and simmer until the fish is tender and breaks apart easily with a fork. Drain the fish and set it aside.
