Step-by-step

  • In a bowl, gently combine the lamb with the spices and garlic. Be careful not to over-work the meat. Form into patties.
  • Heat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the lamb for approximately 4 minutes per side for medium. Do NOT press the burgers down on the grill- you will lose the flavorful juices!
  • Drain the feta and pat dry. Slice the feta and place on the burgers just before they are finished. (It's ok if it's crumbly, just try to keep them towards the center of the burger.)
  • Remove the burgers from the grill and set aside to rest a few minutes. Put the pieces of naan on the grill to warm them- just about a minute. Remove, tear in half placing each on a plate and top with a burger and some red onion. Spoon tzatziki over the top and serve. These are served open-faced and you fold the naan around the burger.

After a long day of work, the last thing I want to do is spend hours in the kitchen cooking a complicated meal. That's why I love these lamb burgers with tzatziki and feta. They're easy to make, and they're absolutely delicious.

The lamb burgers are made with a simple combination of ground lamb, spices, and garlic. I like to grill them over medium-high heat so that they get a nice char on the outside while staying juicy on the inside. The tzatziki is a refreshing yogurt-based sauce that adds a bit of tang to the burgers. And the feta cheese adds a salty, creamy flavor that ties everything together.

I like to serve these burgers on naan bread, but you can also use pita bread or hamburger buns. I also like to add some sliced red onion and fresh parsley to the burgers for a bit of extra flavor and crunch. These lamb burgers with tzatziki and feta are the perfect weeknight dinner. They're easy to make, they're delicious, and they're sure to please everyone at the table.
