Step-by-step

  • Pre-heat oven to 170°C (Fan Forced) and grease a pie dish (with removable base) with butter.
  • Add all of the pie crust ingredients into a medium sized mixing bowl and using an egg beater, beat until totally combined and a crumbly like consistency is achieved.
  • Place into the pie dish and press down with your fingers.
  • Bake for 10 to 15 minutes (12 minutes worked for us).
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
  • Add all of the filling ingredients (except for the melted chocolate) to a medium mixing bowl and beat until totally combined.
  • To melt the chocolate without burning, adjust the microwave temperature to medium and place in the microwave for 30 second increments, stirring in-between each microwave blast until totally melted.
  • Pour the melted chocolate into the bowl with the beaten filling. Beat until totally combined.
  • Transfer the filling to the pie base and using a plastic spatula, spread out evenly.
  • Using a hand grater, grate the remaining chocolate over the top of the filling.
  • Place in the fridge for 6 hours or until set.
  • Decorate with Strawberries & Blackberries

  • 5 strawberries (sliced finely)
  • 5 blackberries (halved)
