Step-by-step

  • Place your snack inside the ice cream cone.
  • Pipe the edge of the cone with the melted chocolate.
  • Place the cookie on top, making sure the cone is in the center of the cookie.
  • Pipe the exterior of the cone where it meets the cookie just to even out the line of chocolate.
  • For an added bonus, you can "glue" Halloween shapes with the melted chocolate if you want. For the ghosts, I used the nondairy white chocolate coins (their shapes were perfectly like ghosts!) and homemade monster googly eyes. For the bats, I made them from a homemade cookie dough and dipped them in melted chocolate.

A Business Lady's Halloween Hack: Quick, Healthy, and Spooktacular

Being a business lady in the 21st century is a whirlwind. Meetings, deadlines, emails – they never seem to end. And then, on top of all that, you've got the added pressure of holidays. Halloween, for example. You want to do something fun, something festive, but let's be honest, who has the time to whip up elaborate, Pinterest-worthy creations after a 12-hour workday? Not this lady. That's why I'm all about smart shortcuts, healthy hacks, and anything that saves me precious time without sacrificing the fun factor. This year, my Halloween savior came in the form of the simplest, yet most adorable treat: Surprise Witches Hats.

I stumbled upon the idea while brainstorming healthy snack options for my team. I needed something quick, something visually appealing, and something that wouldn't leave everyone in a sugar coma. The ingredients were simple: gluten-free ice cream cones, allergen-friendly cookies, some melted non-dairy chocolate, and a healthy mix of nuts, seeds, dried fruit, and non-dairy chocolate chips for the filling. It was a eureka moment! The cones, turned upside down and topped with a cookie, instantly resembled miniature witch’s hats. A little melted chocolate to “glue” the cookie to the cone, and voila! A spooky, healthy, and utterly charming treat was born. The best part? These little hats are incredibly versatile. You can fill them with anything you like, making them perfect for accommodating dietary restrictions or simply catering to individual preferences.

These little Witches Hats aren’t just a treat; they’re a symbol of my approach to life. Efficient, adaptable, and always with a touch of creativity. They're proof that even in the midst of a hectic schedule, you can still find moments of joy and celebrate the little things. And let's be honest, in the fast-paced world of business, sometimes a little bit of magic is exactly what you need to keep you going. Plus, seeing the smiles on my team’s faces when they saw these adorable treats? Priceless. That's the kind of magic that makes all the late nights and early mornings worthwhile.

This Halloween, I encourage you to embrace the simple joys. Skip the elaborate baking projects and opt for something quick, easy, and just as delightful. These Surprise Witches Hats are a perfect example. They're a testament to the fact that sometimes, the most enchanting creations are also the most straightforward. And for busy professionals like myself, that’s a treat worth celebrating.

So, whether you're a business lady juggling deadlines, a busy mom trying to keep up with the kids, or simply someone who appreciates a good shortcut, these Surprise Witches Hats are a must-try. They're a delicious reminder that even in the midst of chaos, a little bit of creativity and a whole lot of simplicity can go a long way. Happy Halloween!
