Step-by-step

  • Cut chicken thighs into 1/2 inch pieces.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the marinade and pour over the chicken. Add salt to taste. Mix completely so that all the chicken pieces are covered. Let marinade for 1-2 hours.
  • Drain and skewer a few chicken pieces on each bamboo skewer. Heat a non stick pan on med high until hot. Lower the heat to med/low and add a few skewers to the pan. Cook on one side for 3-5 minutes or until caramel brown. Turn over and cook second side until caramel brown. You will notice that as the chicken cooks, it first releases some liquid and then the liquid starts to caramelize. It will then coat the chicken. Make sure your heat is not too high when cooking the chicken.
  • Baste with extra honey if you like and cook for an additional minute or so. Sprinkle sesame seeds and serve. You can keep them warm in a 200 deg oven.

I've been grilling a lot lately, and I'm always looking for new and exciting recipes to try. This recipe for Skewered Honey-Balsamic Chicken is one of my new favorites. It's easy to make, and the chicken is so flavorful and juicy. I love the combination of the honey and balsamic vinegar, and the sesame seeds add a nice crunchy texture.

The chicken is marinated in a mixture of honey, balsamic vinegar, worcestershire sauce, onion powder, pepper, garlic, and ginger. This marinade gives the chicken so much flavor, and it's also really easy to make. Just mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl and pour it over the chicken.

Once the chicken has marinated, it's time to grill it. I like to grill the chicken over medium-high heat so that it gets a nice caramelized crust. The chicken is cooked through when it's no longer pink in the center.

Once the chicken is cooked, you can serve it immediately. I like to serve it with rice and broccoli, but you can also serve it with your favorite sides.
